 Miller Mechanical Services, Inc., is a woman-owned, North American company specializing in metal fabrication and installation and providing general maintenance services to the pulp and paper industry. Headquartered on Walnut Street in Glens Falls, the company employs roughly 200 people, including skilled welders and experienced industrial maintenance project supervisors.
Founded by the late Myles Miller in 1988, and now led by his wife Elizabeth, the original business focused on performing shutdown and general maintenance at pulp and paper mills throughout the United States. Over the past two decades, the company has evolved to include significant metal fabrication facilities as well.
Today, the company’s facilities include over 55,000 square feet of building space for fabrication, repair, storage and administrative purposes, with 35,000 square feet dedicated to custom fabrication, which includes ASME pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers and system components for industrial processes. The business now serves the power generation, construction, chemical/pharmaceutical, and pulp and paper industries.
