EDC Luncheon Highlights Warren County’s Growthtop story

EDC Warren County held its annual luncheon on Friday, April 25, drawing approximately 240 local business and community leaders together at the Great Escape Lodge in Queensbury, to review economic development initiatives of the past year and thank those individuals who made significant contributions to progress.

Daniel Burke, EDC’s Chairman, cited the revitalization of Glens Falls, the opening of the new North Creek Ski Bowl chairlift, and the many companies and non-profit organizations benefiting from the Empire Zone program as some examples of EDC’s role in the county’s continued economic health and expansion.

Mr. Burke later recognized State Senator Elizabeth Little, Assemblywoman Teresa Sayward, and Queensbury Town Supervisor Daniel Stec for their assistance with projects in Warren County.
The luncheon’s keynote speaker was Dr. Ronald Heacock, President of Adirondack Community College. Read more and See Lunch Photos
