EDC Wins Marketing Awards from NYSEDC
EDC received two awards for its marketing communications materials at the May conference of economic development organizations from throughout New York State. EDC received the “Best of Class” award for Development Brochures for its promotional piece about Queensbury Business Park, and also captured top honors for its 2008 Annual Report, receiving a Certificate of Excellence.
“Once again this year, EDC’s marketing communications materials have been judged to be particularly effective in delivering our message about Warren County’s fantastic business opportunities,” notes Leonard Fosbrook, President of EDC. “We are actively using these materials to attract new businesses to Warren County, as well as for outreach to those businesses already here.”
The New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC) announced the winners of its Marketing Awards at the organization’s Annual Meeting in Cooperstown. NYSEDC is the state's principal organization representing economic development professionals, with 900 members from economic and industrial development agencies, commercial and investment banks, underwriters, bond counsels, utilities, chambers of commerce and private corporations. |
