The Chazen Companies
 The Chazen Companies provide a wide array of services related to development and land use management, including civil, structural, transportation and geotechnical engineering, land surveying, planning, environmental consulting, infrastructure management, landscape architecture, and construction inspection services. The firm serves municipalities and private clients throughout the Northeast from its three offices in Glens Falls, Troy, and Poughkeepsie.
"We're known for being able to offer many specialized services under one umbrella. In addition to our strong engineering background, for example, we have experts in areas such as wetland biology, ecology, and planning. With these complementary skills, we can provide a more comprehensive assessment of the opportunities and challenges for each project," notes Chris Round, Vice President of Planning Services.
Within Warren County, Chazen has consulted on several projects:
 Queensbury Business Park – For this 56-acre, nine-site light industrial park near the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport, developed by EDC, Chazen directed pre-permitting assistance needed to obtain NYS Shovel Ready certification. Chazen served as construction administrator for road and infrastructure construction and installation from 2006-2008.
Tech Meadows, Glens Falls – Chazen wrote the Environmental Impact Statement for the City, encompassing the Tech Meadows site, which streamlines the development process. Chazen is currently providing design and engineering services for infrastructure improvements (water and sewer).

South Street Revitalization, Glens Falls – Chazen's design team is consulting on streetscape improvements to help re-cast this corridor and make it an attractive gateway to the downtown area. Work will include replacing or refurbishing sewer lines; installing new sidewalks, curbing and street lighting; and landscaping.

Lake George/Gaslight Village wetlands – Working with the West Brook Conservation Initiative, Chazen is advising on creating twelve acres of wetlands at the former Gaslight Village site to remove sediment, nutrients and pollutants from storm water before it flows into West Brook and Lake George.

Examples of projects by The Chazen Companies in the larger Tech Valley region include:
- Town Planner/Engineering services to the Town of Malta for its downtown plan, as the town experiences significant growth due to the arrival of GlobalFoundries and expansion from the Luther Forest Technology Park.
- Code reviews for GlobalFoundries' construction project and the supplemental Environmental Impact Statement, related to its cleanroom expansion.
- Development Advisor for the 330-acre Harriman Research and Technology Development Corporation in Albany, a subsidiary of Empire State Development. The Chazen-led team will provide guidance with the architecture, engineering, site planning, environmental analysis and general project management of the Harriman Campus redevelopment. The HRTDC is planned as a world-class research and technology park that will spur economic development, grow the tax base, and create high quality jobs in the Capital Region.
