Executive Director Lisa Sax acknowledged EDC's "active role in promoting workforce education programs since the organization launched in 2004."

The Adirondack Business to School Partnership's objective is to develop a coordinated strategy between businesses and schools, facilitating the connection for students to improve their employability. The intent is twofold: to meet the employment needs of businesses and other organizations, and to generate and strengthen a workforce from regional schools. This strategy will result in more stable employment opportunities for area students and residents while at the same time provide a workforce to support growth in the region.
