Ice Castles, Lake George Winter Carnival, Winterfest ALL Open This Winter!
Lake George has long been a winter destination and, this year, a national attraction is added to the lineup of fun! Ice Castles — the awe-inspiring interactive winter phenomenon — will be featured Jan. 22 to Feb. 27.
Ice Castles is a fun, family-friendly experience built using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, mazes and fountains.
The attraction provides a 30- to 60-minute experience. Priority booking vouchers are on sale: Don’t wait! This event is expected to sell out.
After moving from California to Utah, Ice Castles founder Brent Christensen built an ice cave for his six children in the family’s backyard. Seeing the joy the structure brought, Christensen founded Ice Castles to help others create unforgettable winter memories.
